Most of the categories are self explanatory, boot shots should go into the Boots category for example.
Generally if it has a cock in the shot the pic goes into the Shoejobs Cumshots category.
Extreme Heels are for heels over 5 inches.
Web finds or Professional images must go into that category (and don't count towards Premium upgrades)
The Picture of Me category is for mug shots of you and not necessarily in heels. This category is not searchable, and does not count towards Upgrades.
Candid Shots is for pictures taken in the street or elsewhere without the person's knowledge.
Guidance and suggestions from other Members would be much appreciated on this topic.

I was glad to find the "found shoes" category added some time ago.
As I understand this category, its for shoes "found" in the course of just an ordinary day. Sitting in the hall, coat room, street corner - all pretty much open public areas where the shoes are just "left". Some of our friends here like to borrow or "shoe-nap" from the office - I guess that fits the category, too.
I have found I like to hunt for shoes that are found at the side of the road - luggage explosions, tossed out of the car window in a moment of passion or fury, etc. As I spend HOURS on the road, it gives me something to occupy my mind and keep me from falling asleep at the wheel. Most of the Found shoes I have submitted come from this "hobby" of mine.
Anybody reading LUCKY Magazine may know the mag talks about "finding" shoes as a bargain in a store. I don't think shoes actually purchased count as Found Shoes - but it might. I like to think that the shoes in the Found Category are shoes actually found in the free and clear - all alone and waiting to be loved.

this catergory is confusing i think as i would have thought all pictures would contain three people, but they dont... it refers to the lifestyle of the person wearing the shoes... so following that thought will we see new catergories called housewifes heels, or singles shoes?

Ok, something I've been wondering about, and wasn't sure where to ask about it! So this probably isn't the right thread. ;P
Though, pertaining to the topic of categories....which category do members post pictures focusing on their cock or pussy, no shoes or feet in sight, to?
I don't know if I'm the only one noticing this and finding it annoying or not....but it seems like quite a few people like posting pictures centered on their genitalia, not involving any type of footwear, or feet...I've come across one profile were I counted up to 15 images that had nothing shoe related in them...and I'm thinking, this is a shoe fetish site....if people wanted to see just straight up porn no shoes involved, there are plenty of other sites for that! I just came across one photo of a man's cock, with a woman's lips around it....nothing else in the shot.
So I'm really wondering not only what category people put these in....but if their even allowed, and if they ever get deleted? I checked the rules and was surprised there wasn't anything about posting pictures that didn't have shoes.

You are quite right about this Mandershoes.
I delete many of the 'off topic images' - it is a shoe site and shouldn't be filled with cock images or pictures of Aunt Mary's ginger pussy.
One or two images of this type are OK if they are placed in the picture of me category as they do not therefore appear on the 'Show...' menus, but can still be seen by viewing the profile.

I see we already have a pic in this category and guess what!!! Nothing to do with christmas at all. Is it really so hard to select a category for your pics to go in, or at least try to choose one they fit in with. Nothing Ho Ho Ho about the pic in there, so it should Go Go Go LOL

It is not often clear what picture should go where even if one reads all the forum postings. I maintain that there should a page that is the Category Guide. An alternative is to post the category guidance under the category title for each respective category pages in the Hottest and Newest pictures. And it would nice if there is an easy way for the member to move their posted pictures to the proper category. Don't you think that this would make Hot Shoe Shots site far more enjoyable?

I think the selection of which category is not always easy. If you have a shot of high heel shoes with two people and cum then you could post that shot in a number of categorys however that is not really a problem. It is when pics are posted with no thought as to which category they could fit into. The December comp is a good exarmple. The one pic showing has no thought of Christmas whatsoever, and is clearly in the wrong place, that doesn't need a great deal to sort out. Just a bit of thought!

Despite pissing over your shoes as a festive greeting being a tradition in some parts of the Urals, I have moved those pics to the Wet Messy category.
It is amazing how may pics are uploaded into the wrong category, so I have to run through them each day.
As you say, a little thought would help a lot.

Well done Emma on winning the Dec comp. great shot and in the theme of Christmas too. Looking at the comp i thought it was going to be a really good choice and we would see lots of entrys, but maybe you were all too busy this time of year. Maybe we should have the Christmas theme in June when we have more time LOL.
Shame that of the 20 odd entries i think only 7 has any Christmas theme about them at all, one even came second. All good shots i will agree but is it really so hard to put them in the right place on here. Any ideas what January is going to be yet, just a bit of fun so if you have never entered before why not try it.

from a womans point of view, i think the makers of male sandals get it all wrong, ive never seen one pair that i actually like, and definately am put off by the men of the world who put socks on with them lol... and NEVER wear them to bed, the socks i mean :-)

Yes, that`s the problem. Most sandals for men a very boring and unsexy except all those fantastic designer sandals from Gucci, Sergio Rossi, etc. They make sexy sandals for men.

As with most things in life it all comes down to personal tastes. I dont think i would be that keen to see men wearing mens sandals, shoes or whatever. but a guy wearing womens heels is much more interesting. Maybe we should have one of our famous polls on the idea?
I have often wondered about men finding there own shoes sexy or not, anyone care to share that with us?

I aagree with Cathy C. There is nothing sexy about mens shoes. Just think of the names that go with womens shoes, like pumps, mules, slingbacks, wedges, springolators, and slides. These names are a lot sexier than wingtips, loafers, and clogs.

I agree with Cathy C as well - there is nothing sexy to me about men's footwear. For me, the "total package" is a woman's sexy foot in a totally sexy heel. The woman MAKES it sexy. A sexy shoe can get me there, but occupied and displayed in pure raw sexuality - definately.
Nothing about a man's shoe (or for that matter a "gender neutral" type shoe like a Croc or a Birk) has any sort of affect on me.

Oh and yes, I like my feet in men sandals but all the sandals I mean are from expensive designers like Rossi or Guci and these sandals are much more sexy than a Teva sandal f.E.

I am a fan of extreme heels. When I go to rate pictures from this category I would see a ton of work by nachocamacho. While his entries are certainly extreme they are not by the original definition (heels over 5 inches). It would be super if he moves the photos of shoes in the anus to a more appropriate category. But is there such a category?

Maybe there should be a insertion category, There could be one for male and female. However, I always thought that the "Female Shoe Play" category was just that for the women.... Maybe I am wrong, but I do agree with this, I too enjoy extreme heels but seeing a man with a heel in is ass is just a bit to extreme for me....
