Let Me get right to the point |
|
I know everyone here wants this fashion fad of sky high heels to stick around for ever but can it come to an end? How long will it last? Will the medical establishment convince everyone that there harmful for the health of your feet? Will the top fashion designers find some other shoe style and will that become the fad? What u think? Stiletto Minds want too know!

Fads come and go. Sky high heels will shorten and move on to something else. But as history has show they will come back.

I think as long as there is a demand for fetish heels they will be available. we get a lot of ours from Banana Shoes which have a wide range to choose from.

fads come and go everything cycles like right now I think 80's fashion with a little bit of a modern twist seems to be back. Remember when block heels were popular and now they've cycled out? as far as the medical establishment stamping out heels... Yea that have been some interesting studies and heels are in fact bad for your feet, hard on your back and knees (honestly I think that's kind of a no duh statement if you've worn heels for an extended period of time) but I think to say that medical establishment will somehow stamp out heels may be getting a bit over board(has to much of a big bro tone to it.) I think people will always ware what they like.

As long as there are men that like heels, there will be women that wear them.
Even subconsciously, men lust for shoes, and women recognize the affect it has on them.
If you could wear something that got women hot and horny in an instant, wouldn't you?

timeless fashion never dies |

I love my heels, don't get me wrong, but as a funtional shoe - no way. I wear conservative business loafers or 3" heels, when I'm on the fly runing around. As for playtime or a night on the town, I'm not walking hard or very far in my sexy shoes or boots, so I'm not concerned about the health threat to my feet. High heel pumps have been around for decades and decades; they've never really left the fashion world at all, and I seriously doubt that they will. Ralax girls, nobody is taking of FMP's any time soon. You can relax, too, guys!

I agree, stiletto heels have never gone away. Yes it's true designers always look for the next big thing, but high heels are as esential to women's wardrobe as the little black dress and basic miniskirt. They may try different variations such as a very long and pointy toe (I don't personally care for) or rasor platform (I don't care for either) or chunky heels, but the fact is high shoes create that "perfect" female figure and forces them to walk in a dainty feminine way with short little steps. High heels are a basic nessesity.

I believe high heels will never become out of fashion, since many people do fancy them, and they will always be a seductive weapon for the ladies. A weapon which catches any man.
One example is: I am taking a course for two weekends (bloody hell!!!) The teachers were good looking, but they were not wearing any heels at all. As a result, I could focus more on the subject than on their feet. In a party, they would not have caught my eye.
Therefore, heels are more than essential!

you have to remember that the fashion industry is dominated by gay men... so its no wonder the majority of stilettos are so bloody uncomfortable lol... and no i have nothing against gay men... my point is they dont understand womens feet...or maybe they do and want us to suffer haha...

stiletto's have been foot killers since there creation.if woman didn't adore them they would canned the "fad" in the 50's.Its the fact that both sexes love them wearing or watching, that have taken this to new heights.

I dont hink both sexes wearing them have taken it to new heights, as what is the pecentage of males who buy and wear them to women? I think the various different factors why women buy them, also links to the male admiration which also has an impact. So, although some males wearing them I dont think has any impact on their longevity, the males appreciating women in them pushes sales more, thus males do help the industry. I know I would prob only have about 20 pairs if Mr Was wasnt like he is. Hence I have about 70 - so, males do help heels etc to new heights as you put it..

I was referring to woman wearing them and men watching them and loving the look.

Sorry - my misunderstanding.
But when it says "both sexes love them wearing or watching" i doesn't read like that to me. It reads like both sexes love wearing or love watching them.
Hence the confusion
Cheers
