Nice topic. I hope we get some replies. My favorite store is Burlington Coat Factory. It is an outlet store with a self service shoe department. They have great shoes for about $20 and in sizes up to 11.

u can't beat ebay or charity shops for nice worn shoes. I got a pair of sexy nine west pumps from a local charity shop recently. I wonder who their previous owner was

recently zappos.com or largefeet.com. I have to search for size 13 so sometimes it is hard.

I just went to Payless today and had a wonderful time trying on a few different pairs and picked up a new pair of strappy sandles and a new pair of black pumps.

Which raises the question for us men. How many of us are comfortable with trying on shoes in public? It is certainly a rush for me, given the right circumstances.

Well, for the ones who want to try a shoe in public, it must be quite difficult. I buy those from the brazilian eBay (Mercado Livre.com), where it is easier to find used shoes. Charity shops are good too, but I know little when these happen.

I try not to buy shoes online unless I find something exceptional that cannot be found in regular stores, like extremely high stilettos or designer shoes at a resonable price. I always prefer to try a pair of shoes to make sure they fit well, otherwise it's a loose of money and a lot of pain when wearing a new pair of heels that turns out to be too small! Thanks God Italy offers quite a good choice of shoes ranging from crappy cheap ones to the finest classy designer ones and in almost every shop I find something I would buy and often I end up buying :-)

I shop at eBay for worn sexy shoes that turns me on if it's my size. She buys for department stores and outlet malls.
