What is the policy on commercial pictures? I noticed a lot of them being posted. I thought pics had to be ones we take ourselfs?

Yes thats the deal. I try to keep on top of it, but with so many pics coming in its not easy.

I have posted ALL of my own photos,shot by myself or a lucky male that I ask to take some photos with me, Yes so glad someone has said something about all the photos that are not the persons.....Hey there are thousands of sites to look at commercial photos, this site is built on the members using their own photos.....ok,one of you boys want to take some photos of me........hehehe....:)

My cameras ready when you are lisa, do agree this thing with commercial pics is not what we are really about, and they are not as good as most of the "real" pics

I think people should be able to post SOME pictures that are not their own. Some people don't have access to a camera so they can feel a bit left out of this site because they aren't able to post as many of their own pictures as other people are.

It has been quiet around this topic for a while, but lately it seems that there has been an invasion of members re-posting webshots....
It is such a waste to see all these webshots here, it really violates with the amatuer character of this website!!!

I see we have more couples comming in the site, and taking the time to shoot photos of their own, and that is wonderful, keep it up to all you HOT couples out there! The web photos, yes are nice to look at, but the net is full of them, they suck here, and I feel bring down the efforts of all of the couples working and shooting photos to give all of us REAL people enjoying a REAL fetish, not some set up bullshit in the studio model getting paid to do something in front of a camera...Keep it real people...

Perhaps some of us should help Shoejack out with moderating and send him the names of people who violate the rules.
I just hate to see all those webpix being uploaded lately, while the REAL people only get low ratings on their real pix, that have cost such an effort to make.
It's people like Lisa, Cathy, Latexstockings, Paula, Maria, Heellady, Ladyspikes that make this site to what it is all about!!!

I have been reading and taking note of your feelings on this subject.
I agree that the posting of commercial pictures runs against the true spirit of the site as a community. I have taken a much harder line towards them, but as you can see they keep coming. I have spoken to several of you about creating a second site that moves further beyond what this one is capable of.
I would like to add multimedia for example and whilst the rating system is fun having more control over what you can do and where you can go on the site would be better.
I have started a new forum on the second site as it is in planning, and you can have a real say over what it should look like and contain.
The second 'true' members site will be up and running in approx two weeks if we can agree on what we would like.

We joined because we hoped it would be photos of members sharing their love for great shoes and we are disappointed with the volume of commercial photos.
However small our contribution may be, it will be real.

I have changed My mind (every Woman has the right to do that) I have said in the past I do not care about what rating My photos get, and I was not too happy with the commercial photos here. I still don't care about what rating My photos get....but...
I now really like looking at some of the commercial photos (some of them are hot!) but here is My problem with them. Just how can a couple or single female who posts photos here and cares about the rating compete with a pro photo?
I don't think a commercial photo should be able to be rated or count on rating of somones page. Just have the commercial photo up to look at, not rate....:)

My thoughts exactly Lisa, so with the exception of a few early ones which I am still working through all commercial / professional images are in an unrated 'professional' category.

I think that sharktrager is one case which highlights the pro pics problem. I suspect all his pics are web or pro but he is holding lots of top spots in one catagory!! How should we feel about that senario against people who have posted there own pics in the same catagory?
