I have noticed that in the sneakers section, Male footwear has been posted.
Personally, I find mens' sandals (brown leather type, buckles, designer etc) to be erotic as well as female shoes.
I was wondering if others were open to members posting pics of not just womens' shoes/sandals? We have "TV/CD" and "Men in Heels", but I find the shoe the attraction here, and if I posted in "Flat Sandals" or "cumshots" would people be turned off with the male shoes?
Thoughts please.. if you're going to post what you like or not, please consider the question as well.
Should we have a section for male footwear?

Personally I would take the ladies shoes and feet first over the male footwear, but Hey, I've been known to "indulge" myself w/ manly footwear and well cared for male feet from time to time. Wouldn't see anything wrong w/ a category such as that if there was enough interest. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Male shoes u must be joking where in this site does male shoes take place take a look at the top picture its a female stilletto you want male shoes then you are on the wrong site.
im always open to others fetish but seeing some1 jerking off in a mans shoe now thats twisted to say the least. so a seperate site would be appropriate because that category doesnt even deserve to be mention here.

Lets not and say we did...too much men feet already. Please lets stick to as close to one sexes shoes if possible. Womens feet and sexy womens heels.
If your intent on this then do it inside the present (men in heels slot) or (TV slot.) Compromise is all we ask, so everyones happy. Then you all have full disclosure on the photos your jerkin over....The next extreme is what baseball cleats? Rainboots? Workboots? you get my point....

Wasn't expecting such polarised posts, but I get your points.
I personally don't like the pics of men in heels, to me that's a turn off - women's shoes on women or by themselves, but that's just me.
Seems there must be some people who love it or there wouldn't be a category for it. I did mean designer leather sandals, not a (covered) male shoe.
Stryker, your black sports/joggers/sneakers - they are women's shoes? You are a moderator and I respect your position on the issue. For me, I find a sandal sexier than a sports shoe, but to each HotShoeShots member their own. I thought those you posted were male ones.
Stu, happy to compomise. Pics of designer sandals don't smoothly fit in "TV/TD" or "Men in heels" categories, but going by supportive PMs I am getting I'll use those categories if I do.
A question - Birkenstocks are unisex - and are already posted and regarded as erotic by many members - what of those?

Obviusly I think they have a big relevence, i suppose it depends which style on what foot!.. So are Flip flops and sneakers very unisex, for sure the reebok freestyle princess tend to be more of a fem style, though the 180s, converse, 95s etc etc are only distinguished by colorway... an interesting direction...

Clean? Hell no,,, make it nasty and different! Truth be told flip flops, Birkenstocks and tennis shoes do absolutely nothing for me and I find them without style and vision. But I am ok and I will support the right of other members to get off to them and post them as they wish!!! POST away in the closest catagory deemed a fit!!

I applaud everyone's right to get freaky how ever they chose. I praise THIS site for putting a place on the e-map for MY freak - ladies in sexy boots and shoes with heels.
I personally find nothing erotic about men's footwear. Even women in men's footwear is pretty much nothing to me. But that's where I myself am.
But I am glad we have a place here where the sexual thrill of footwear PERIOD can be celebrated. If that means we add a room for men's shoes - for the folks who enjoy that - please do. I know I won't stop by that room, but I'll keep the light on for those who do!

this is just the sort of attitude the site should be based on. I too have very little interest in seeing mens shoes but then again i still think if people want to see that it's up to them.
If anybody has a right to say what the direction of the site is then it's SJ.
Moderators comments such as "Sick" and "Gross" are not really very constructive to debate or in keeping with the job title i think, although a poll for new ideas is always a good one, trouble is you can never be sure it's just the same people voting time and again unless that can be sorted out to one vote per member.

We have catagories for probably every women's shoe type, makes perfect sense to include a few for those of the male footware lovers!
Not really my thing, but so what?! We are all but a happy, thriving community of shoe lovers, apart from the odd Stryker out there ;-)

i dont think it's about the fact of having it or not, it's about the right to discuss it without being called gross or sick, it's no worse than some of the other categories if they are not to your likeing, it's about debate and interest in other peoples fetish as well as your own taste I think
