As you can see I am trying to make the image management easier, but the present form is very confusing so a new page will be online very shortly.
Until that is ready: remember - to make an image your main image,: select the image then click 'make main' at the top
to delete an image select the image then click delete at the top.
You only need to select the save and click save if you change the description or category

Are you using a pc or a phone? What browser are you using? The more feedback I get the better I can fix the problem. Is anyone else having the same problem?
Fill the box 'Make Main' and hit the Make main button at the top to make the image the main image.

I have altered the code for the manage pictures page. Please post here if anyone has a problem with uploading or making the main pic. More code to follow to save changes to category and description.

I have now tested the upload with all common browsers: IE 9 IE8 (IE7 & 6 are now obsolete and anyone still using these versions needs to update immediately as they are compromised) Firefox and Opera.
All picture functions work with no problem.
HOWEVER: If anyone experiences problems with uploading an image they can do the following:
1. Check your image file size. Ideally the picture file size should be less than 1mb. The images are resized on the server so any image larger than 800px wide get resized down, but this can cause a time out error eg if your image is 4mb you will have to wait a long time to upload the image and it may time out.
It is far better to resize images prior to upload. Use pixresizer for example.
2. The other problem that may occur is that your active session may have expired.
Log out and back in and try the upload.
please let me know if anyone has any further problems.

Nothing on my photo page works at all.
All of my software is up to date.
Edit SJ.
I understand it is all working now for you.
I'm glad we got it sorted.
