Why do people waste your time on this site? I have mentioned this before but now I have yet another case of it. Someone emails asking if I have anything to sell, we discuss - I send a pic and a deal is made. Promises are made to pay on a certain day and surprise surprise - no payment. No response to emails regarding payment.
You would think people here would be more keen and serious about buying used shoes than eBay, but it seems yet again for the 5th time on here, I am right. I sold two pairs on ebay last week as per usual with no fuss. I try to put my faith in people on here once again and it gets thrown out of the window. I don't know why I bother keeping to try with buyers on here. 5 times out of 5 means most people must just be time wasters and just like those who keep asking to borrow shoes and I refuse, the minority spoils it for the majority so im just not even going to discuss any buyer requests with people on here anymore. They will be ignored.
(sorry for the rant but it really pisses me off).

We all need to have a good rant now and then, but your right, why bother if you have no intention of seeing it through. Maybe they are in love with the idea of having them rather than actually handing over the cash. Maybe when you sell on e bay you could post a link here then if they want em they can bid like anyone else for them.
Hope you feel better for getting it out of your system WAS.

Hi, I had a similar issue with a member on here (Riftzone can probably guess who!) who I sent heels to with the promise of returned pics of them wearing them for me but claimed they never arrived... Thankfully there was no money to exchange (apart from the small cost of sending on my part), so it's not a monetary issue, more the frustration that they're probably lying! Does make you wonder who you can trust on this site sometimes...

at the time I was a little reluctant to go about spouting off about them - for all I know they could have been telling the truth and it may have been a simple Royal Mail error. But after speaking to Riftzone and the topic of conversation turning toward this particular incident and the individual ivolved it does appear I am not the only 'sucker' to fall for their tricks.
I'm all for cleaning up and getting rid of the 'parasites' that seem to suck all the good will of this site, so as there is a strong case against this person I think it only fair to name and shame - if only to prevent some other good natured member falling foul...

Needless to say, yz250 has been banned from me. Perhaps if time wasters are named then they may be less inclined to do the same to other members.

Seems I'm not the only member this man wastes times with after some emails I've had. And yes, we do know it's a guy
What can we do about this SJ?

Yep that's the guy i have heard of from other members, maybe we should be more open about this kind of activity and not just feeling that you have been duped and feel silly about it. What can be done if he just joins under another name or using another computer ?

Will ask shoejack to ban his IP
mikecoxrooted@hotmail.co.uk.
Says it all doesn't it. I mean, what 'wife' scours the net to buy shoes for her hubby? Haha. It's obvious it's a guy but I didn't care as he promised a sale. Big fail more like!
So yz250. Can I have my picture back you conned out of me, without you saving it first? I doubt it! Arsehole

i would think there are a lot of women who buy heels for their men to wear, its a sexy thing to do in my opinion... but this member has approached me to buy some of my heels and seemed genuine, suggested payment by paypal before i posted etc...but mine are not for sale as for pictures, swapping i assume u mean, thats a chance u take i spose, there is no monetary value there but very much a trust that can be broken and is a real shame when that happens.

I just sent 1 picture because they were not on my profile and yes, this idiot says the same. I'll pay by pay pal on Monday. What a prick.
No doubt some women do, but again like I said before about a certain fake profile I exposed, you can tell from the way someone talks and the things they say that it definitely wasn't a woman asking to have the shoes cummed on because she loves to wear cum my shoes for her husband etc haha. It's hilarious. More like he likes shoes people have cum on so he can do the same.
It just riles me why people cant just be honest instead of making up bullshit stories and wasting peoples time. No reason people cant be honest as this is hardly a place to be bashful is it?

I have no idea how that works but does each computer have it's own IP? Therefore anyone with access to other computers can simply have a new ID ? Just interested in how effective any measures would be?

Yes. All computers have an IP address. That's how people get caught for downloading shady material. Yes if the person has more than 1 computer then they can use a different IP. But if theynonly use one then it's effective enough. Unless they use a floating IPnthat renews each time younlog on but I doubt that very much

Thanks for clearing that up WAS. It's like i thought it was. Anyone with access to more than one comp can easily beat any ban which is a shame, guess we just have to lookout for these people !!

this is the internet, nothing and no one is or has to be as they seem, it seems u have learnt a lesson, not to trust anything u see at first sight, people are not the same as you, they think and act very differently. it pays to be aware of that before you do or say anythng... unfortunately its a life lesson learnt, and thank you for warning us.

actually your ip is not attached to a single computer...it is attached to the service you have from your service provider...one address per account...so switching computers does not work unless the blocking tool is a cookie...you can line block an ip address and it stops anyone on any computer from that ip account from accessing the site... However..if the user is an AOL user..you can't do it because AOL issues a new IP each time the user accesses...also the user/offender can surf using a proxy... My webmaster does site administration and everytime a contest was run the voting was manipulated by people with multiple id's using proxy servers...
