Hello, lads!
This is the translation for a story I read just today at the brazilian MSN site (http://msn.onne.com.br/cesargiobbi/ notas/arquivo/#9880)
Like Cinderella
Martin Margiela's little glass shoes: just like Cinderella's.
The designer Martin Margiela became famous because of his eccentricity when designing masterpieces. His ultimate creation are the "Glass Slippers", which seem to have been made inspired on Cinderella's crystal shoes. Designed in glass, they represent the ultimate shoe fetish, with an unique style. But if you do not intend to wear them about, you can show them as decoration objects. Not believing? Even Margiela himself relies on the success of his creations as pieces of art, since he sells the shoes separetely. One foot goes for US$ 1,227.00 and a pair goes for US$ 2,580.00. It is sold at Maison Margiela Stores, spread throughout USA, Europe and Asia.
Would you "try" one of these? :D
