Black Newport News Heels, 7 1/2 on eBay |
|
Sally's starting to sell!
The first pair up are black Newport News pumps in a size seven and a half. Just got the pics up on HSS, please take a peak. The uppers are a bit beat up for Sally to keep wearing to the office, and the heels are worn down to the nail. They have a nice worn leather smell, rich and deep, but not stinky. The link to the auction is below. Feel free to ask me question here or through eBay.
Thanks for taking a look... there will be more on the way!
NOTE: eBay has pulled this auction. Will be relisting soon.

Grrr... eBay killed my auction. Many apologies to those here who had any interest. I'll re-post once I have a tamer, eBay-friendly version up.

Have you gone this route, SH? We had one bid and several watchers with three days left when eBay pulled the auction.

unfortunately yes... someone complains about your description and they pull the whole thing... i have had strong words in the past with ebay... apparently you cant sell shoes with feet in them if u use the word fetish in the description for a start... and usually altho people here seem to be very interested when u are selling... they dont really follow through... but good luck with your amended sale :-)

...selling well worn shoes on eBay is a competitive game. However I do know from the amount of money I've shelled out personally that it can be profitable. I thought my listing followed all the rules (no mention of the word fetish, no reference to the wearer of the shoes, no pics above the knee), but I had some harmless dangling shots and apparently that's a no-no. EBay rules now say that no part of the foot may be displayed outside of the shoes. I guess they're cracking down. Ever just list in the Mature Audiences category with any success?

Directly from eBay:
-Modeled clothing that includes any information about the person wearing the item can only be listed in the Adult Only category.
-Clothing listings that contain nudity are only permitted in the Adult Only category. Images of models wearing clothing that include sexual aspects, such as details of the genitalia, can only be listed in the Adult Only category.
-All used clothing items must include a statement that the item has been properly cleaned.
-Footwear listings in the main eBay categories can't include images that go above the knee or show the foot outside of the footwear. The listing also can't mention fetish. Footwear listed in the Adult Only category can show images of bare feet and describe the listing as fetish.
-Underwear listings that include images must indicate that the pair being modeled is not the pair being sold. Underwear listings that aren't clear about whether the underwear is used or new will be removed.
-See-through clothing is permitted but if the image shows nudity the item can only be listed in the Adult Only category.
So them's the rules. I also forgot in my auction to mention that I would clean the shoes. As you can imagine, most buyers don't want the shoes cleaned, and no one ever does, but you have to say you will.
Hope this helps, and let me know how it goes. You've definitely got me interested... ; )

I gave up selling shoes on ebay a long time ago. Since loads of sellers shift hundreds of pairs of supposedly their own shoes, its obvious they are just buying whatever for nothing, then listing as well worn etc. Unfortunately there are people thick enough to believe it and it took the shine of it for a lot of people, and also drove the prices down to the point where its hardly worth it anymore.

for the past year and a half the prices have plummeted. I used to sell shoes on there for 40-50 a pair about 5 years ago, needless to say nothing stays the same but now cos of their regulations about pics, and everyone else you are lucky to get a tenner now.
My BF sold all his ex's shoes on ebay once, and made about £300 off 7 pairs. Recently a friend of his was having a clear out so rather than giving to the charity shop we gave her a bit of money and tried floggig them all on ebay. But what listings were not removed by ebay due to the pics didnt bear thinking about, and in the end we barely broke even. So now we just sell them through other "groups" on the net.
As for the CL's, no - my friend had them off me once she tried on. I could always have chopped her feet off and attached them to me, but that would be a bit extreme. Although easier than finding the bloody things in my size for less than £660! Grrrr.

i have noticed extreme heels arent getting the prices they used to... great if u are buying, crap if u are selling... not that i ever would... as for day time shoes, there is usually a lot of interest here... but not so many carry the interest through to the purchase... why is that?

Someone else has it. I don't get it either. I though people would jump at them o here and sure I get lots of requests, but people on here never seem to follow through. Not one out of maybe 20 agreements to buy. Its weird!!?

I think part of the problem is the price of the shoes. Although we all want them not many people can afford to shell out that much money. For me it doesn't matter if the shoes from Primark or Jimmy Choo. As for the bidding and not paying you get that on ebay all the time its anoying but seems to happen to us all. If you have any you want to sell for cheep then let me know.

No one wants to sell for "cheap" do they. I'd rather keep them for that. I am not speaking about you peronally here, but if someone has a true fetish then they are suually willing to pay top dollar for it. Or that used to be the case. Im not just talking in the economic downturn either as a reason the price drops.
What I mention above is the amount of requests I get, then I agree a price suitable to both parties involved on this site, but then they never pay up? Can't be becasue they are too expensive as they have agreed the price with me? They just never follow through. Im sure its the cock in hand syndrome. When emailing it and talking about it, it is a great idea when the guy is whacking off about it, but then as soon as he cums then the need for the shoes goes for half hour or however long it takes. I dont know, but thats just one theory.
As for SH and links to ebay, indeed I had the same. I put about 4 links to different ones from people who emailed me with interest and than nothing, yet again.
Probably more worth keeping them all now no matter how trashed. I'd rather keep em and never use then than get rid for "cheap".

total agreement from me... |
|
totally agree with all of WAS's points... no one likes to feel they are being ripped off but we arent just selling shoes are we... if u want cheap shoes u can get them from a second hand or charity shop.. if you want a particular persons shoes then obviously you will have to pay more as all people here value their shoes, they are very personal items and should be viewed as such.

we should have a space here where we can buy and sell and be comfortable about doing both
