My very dear friend Cathy C, passed away this morning... i will feel the loss and i think this site will too. Always there with advice and good sense, and a hell of a sense of humour lol.. she had to have to put up with me for a start lol... i caused her some concern over the time we knew each other and ive had a few good natured tellings off which i will always remember with affection. Loyal and true to the end, my friend... xxxx sadly missed
she always wanted to get a perfect 10, lets see what we can do shall we? :-)

& you can count on top votes from me for Cathy, cant think of a better way to honour her memory on here.
When i first joined this site Cathy was one of the people who was always messaging me telling me to hang in there while i waited for an upgrade, i added her to my friends list & put beside her name DIAMOND because i feel that is exactly what she is, not was but is, she maybe gone from this world but her spirit remains, so lets get voting & make her wish come true.

I only chatted with Cathy a few timers but she always struck me as someone who was perfect for this community ... a little bit naughty and alot of friendly fun!
I always looked for her whenever I logged on and will miss her!

I have to echo Seattleguys sentiments. I won't pretend to have known Cathy C very well, but she was always very friendly to me, full of naughty (but in good taste) fun. I alwasy commented when she posted new pics which were of course gorgeous, and she always did get a 10 from me. My sympathies go out to her family and friends who have lost a lovely woman.......

I am absolutely stunned , I talked to Cathy a lot when i was a regular visitor to the site . She was a unique and very special lady . I am so sorry that I did not have get say goodbye .

Well what can i say, a real light has gone out far too soon.
I met her on her fist day here and we chatted ever since, that rare mix of a naughty side mixed with her tounge in cheek sense of fun, but always a real class act.
I will miss her greatly and will vote her pics 10 whenever i can, but then i always did that LOL
Lets give her the goodbye she deserves
Hope shes now in shoe heaven sorting them out up there

truly a great member of the site and community has passed. I cannot say that I knew her too well but I did always look up to her and active sprit on this site.
she will be trully missed.

Cathy was a beautiful lady and a great friend. She was genuine, thoughtful and selfless. Impartial and a true listener. Her humour would uplift anyone's day and I shall miss her. x

I only heard about the news this morning when paula petal told me. She will be missed but her memory will live on in HSS remember this day everyone. R.I.P Cathy C

Cathy will be very sadly missed. We had some fun chats about shoes, comparing our heels and asking each other where we bought our shoes. She was happy, funny and a very bright light! My condolences to her family and friends.

Cathy was incredible to talk with and she will be missed.
SH did not mention it, but Cathy died because of breast cancer. So next time someone asks you for donations, remember Cathy...

I was pretty close with Cathy and She will surely be missed by all that knew her and all that ever chatted with her. I can only hope that the impact that she and her pics made on all of us will stick with us and remind us that LIFE IS TOO SHORT!!!! Good Bye Love....

It has all been said by her good friends on this site. She will be very much missed by all. She was very good for the site, was always happy to be involved in site matters and was always full of ideas. God bless her and her family they will be in our prayers.

A true friend who is sadly missed by us all. I loved her wit and candour and she will never pale in my memory. Always a kind word for all in everything she said and did. I regret not having met her as she is and was a lady first and foremost. Sadly missed by me as a friend and confidant. So sad she has been taken from her loved ones and all the friends she made in here. I am sure she is in a better place now and free of all pain. I hope to meet her in another life and again be touched by her.

Im sure all of you are touched by the messages here... im glad i could provide a place for you all to send a last message, this applies to people who did post and those who couldnt.
Life goes on and it has been said, it is incredibly short and should be enjoyed as much as possible, as u never know what is in store for you...
Cathy wouldnt want us to dwell on unhappy thoughts so with this in mind im changing the thread, when i think of one that is lol ofcourse this will still remain for those who feel they want to add their thoughts...

I was surprised to see all Cathy's pics had been removed too. I know she wanted to leave her fav pics on here for a while so im surprised shes been deleted. Maybe some members thought it not right after she passed on but she will not be forgotten by those who chatted with her i'm sure, she was all that the site was about for me, great shoes, fun, and interesting to know on many levels.
I know she wanted to get the monthly competion going to add interest so maybe that would be a fitting way to remember her, and get it back and running again.
Just my thoughts !!

I am disgusted at Cathy's profile,and all mention of her being deleted. She wanted the pics left up. Who the hell thought it was OK to deny her wishes after she died?
To ignore her wishes is disrespectful. Whoever did it should be ashamed.

Hi All
I was truly devastated losing Cathy.
We had always worked closely together on the site, and I feel completely bereft without her sensible advice.
Whilst I agree totally with the sentiment of leaving Cathy's profile standing, I decided to remove it and her site administrator entries out of respect for her partner in case email continued to be sent to her address.
Cathy or her Partner had already removed the photos within her profile, leaving only the main pic. which I then removed.
I apologise for any distress this action may have caused, and can assure you that Cathy will not be forgotten.

All very understandable Shoejack and thanks for putting your reasons. How about getting the monthly competions going again as "Cathy's Comp" ? think it was her idea to have them and would be a nice way to remember her too. Just my idea of course
