I recently discovered the Facebook Marketplace. It is like Craigslist but each listing is tied to a Facebook profile. I was surprised at how many women had high heels listed for sale! I found a pair that got my juices flowing and when I looked at the seller’s profile, I knew I just had to buy them. Since she could also see my profile and know that I’m a guy, I had to think of an excuse for why I wanted to buy her high heels.
I messaged her and said “my girlfriend likes these, would you be willing to meet me so I can buy them for her?” She was very responsive and we met a couple of days later. This is where things got a bit interesting. We met AT HER HOUSE (not a public place like most people like to do) and she was SUPER COOL!! She spent some time talking about the shoes and she even said “here are the bad boys” when I first arrived. She didn’t act “weirded out” at all that a guy was buying her heels and she was alone for the meet (no friend, husband, boyfriend with her). Now, I could tell from her FB profile that she did have a boyfriend, so there wasn’t any reason to try and pursue anything but small talk. Her heels have milked a few loads out of me already!
