Hello. Bored again and thought this might be a interesting topic, as I was having a conversation about this but what do you think is the safest city for a guy to wear heels in? I live in the midwest United States don't view Kansas City as a city wear it would be completely safe to be that open. Maybe Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, San Fransisco, London, or someplace in Germany.
(Sorry not trying to flood the message boards with men in heels stuff it's just that being a guy that wears heels I like to try to spark discussion amongst other male heel wearers)

I have been to Frankfurt a number of times and seen guys wearing heels there and not hidden under long pants. Infact there are a number of shops that sell some rather exciting cloths made of latex too.

I've been watching "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and it seems to me a lot of guys wear high heels there as guys and no one bats an eyelid. So I would have to say Atlanta?

Was going to put Atlanta in there but wasn't sure. I do see a lot of men in heels from there though. Like fashion type guys.

I’m not a heel wearer myself, and couldn’t speak of other countries, but in the United States I would say proceed with caution. Once around 3am I saw this guy (probably in his 40s) just walking down the street in a pair of heels. I remember thinking to myself that this guy is looking for trouble. My area is inundated with Mexicans/latinos which aren’t to tolerant of homosexuals—which is how they would view a guy in heels, whether he was gay or not. It’s too bad that people aren’t tolerant and live and let be. The safe thing is to wait till Halloween time and enjoy it. Outside of that time of year, be careful.

Depends what part of the city too. Like in the Orlando area Walking around dressed up, or even just in heels would be an insanely stupid idea in Tangelo Park or Parramore late at night, but some areas are more open to it, such as the part a bit north of Downtown along Mills.
Do agree, would be nice if people were more open minded about it, I really hate it when people associate being dressed up as being "gay". I wish I knew where that presumption really came from.

Yeah I think it comes from people associating heels with being feminine and men acting feminine with homosexuality. Not that it makes it right regardless of what they think your sex is. Oh well it's the world we live in today.
