Ladies HELP! - A Confession |
|
I'd really appreciate any advice, but especially from lady members, over an awkward situation I find myself in.
A few months back on my usual train commute, I was reading the paper and idly running my fingers over the side of the train seat; from the smooth steel frame to the soft velour fabric, or so I thought!!... when I looked down I discovered to my horror I had actually been stroking the right shoe of a girl sat behind me. She was wearing a lovely pair of patent and suede t-bars, and it was the transition between the patent toe and the suede I had been stroking for a good 5 minutes.
This girl is also a fairly regular commuter who sometimes gets on my train a bit further up the line. I had previously noticed her as she is pretty, early 30s and has lovely petite feet (I guess UK4) plus she wears some great shoes. I still don't understand why she didn't move her foot, it was only there because she had her legs crossed (she occasionally dangles!) and could have easily moved it. There's a chance she may not have noticed of course but I'm not so certain.
My problem is I feel hugely uncomfortable each time I see her now. We have never spoken (and probably never will!) but I can't even make eye contact now. Any advice? Other than catching another train.

I would start asking something about her shoes |
|
For example, where did you buy these gorgeous shoes? I am seeking for ones like these for my wife.... And see her reaction...

I would almost certainly believe she felt your hand on her foot...touch your own in the same way to see if you don't... She may have enjoyed it very much..so my advice is to not be so timid..test it out...try to position in the same way in seats again...see if she places her foot where you would touch it in the same manner...believe me..she would not place her foot there if she didn't want you to once again caress it..if she does then you have a green light...if she doesn't?..then she doesn't want you to again...either way it was an honest mistake and you have nothing to worry about...don't feel guilty like it was a crime you commited...just enjoy the memory..xoxo..TW

Thanks for the responses.
Just to clarify, I am happily married and certainly not looking to take this any further. I just wanted some reassurance that she either didn't feel it or may have in some way "allowed" it to happen.
Still struggle to look her in the eye though, especially when she wears "those shoes".
