Yeah, almost all the time myself! All the shoes I've bought as new are for the most part the ones I wear myself. As for my other shoes, I got them from local thrift stores.

.... a pair of well worn heels. It's preferred in my book. If they are for me to wear, i do like it when they are new, but if it's just for play then yea i'll take used. Love smelling the scent that is left behind by the woman that wore them last.

YES I buy used heels all the time, But only if I can wear them. Lately I have been on a big used Athletic Shoe craze and over the last month I have acquired 17 pair via eBay.

Brand new ones don't have a woman's foot scent. Anyway, the hardest thing is finding an used pair with a good scent.

Thrift stores, like the Goodwill or the Salvation Army can have some nice shoes. Tip, go by a thrift store late at night (especially behind) on Saturdays and Sundays; people that are moving often "clean" house and drop off stuff like shoes after hours. I've found some really nice heels that way. However, if I come across a sexy pair in the store I'll by them. What I usually do is come back right when they open the next day, before too many people enter the store. I still find it a little embarrasing. However sometimes I'll buy like 10 pairs and I'll have a ficticious "list of items" with a letter head that says something like "Tradeshow and Merchandising Exhibits" so they think its for a display rather than think I'm a pervert that's gonna do some hardcore shoe fucking--which is exactly what I'm gonna do, but they don't have to know it.

eBay is where I find my used shoes. Used shoes are already "broken in" and usually have that "used" scent...not the new shoe scent which really doesn't turn me on. Used shoe scent is a must for me.

Yes, I have no problem buying used shoes. I've gotten shoes from Goodwill, E-bay and even other HHS members. Since I love vintage shoes. Most if not all will be used in some form or fashion.

I love yard sales because I can see the lady that actually wore them. Maybe I will flirt with her and ask about the ones she is wearing and offer a few bucks for them. I bought a fancy pair of clear chunky heeled sandals and the lady told me she wore them for a wedding. I love to know any shoe history.

I still have the 'fascination' that I had since I was in Junior High--even to this day. So "I'll only have their shoes if I know who the owner is!" Otherwise it doesn't turn me on.
It seems more realistic and believable for me to fuck a shoe knowing that I'm doing something nasty to a certain girl...because in a way, you are doing something nasty to her. And being able to visualize or look at a photo of the owner still intrigues me. That's the same feeling I had when my fetish started years ago when I wanted the shoes of the girls I knew (classmates, relatives, etc.) I HOPE I never lose that feeling. I also agree that knowing the shoes' history is arousing.
In the past I've bought shoes based on how they looked but it wasn't the same because the visual element of the owner wasn't there.

But what is the best way to go about buying used shoes and not seeming like a total perv, whether it be a yard sale or a thrift store? Even though you know once you acquire them your gonna have your fun anyway.

At a thrift store, I guess if only buy a pair or two, they really don't say much! In fact, they think you're buying for a girlfriend most of the time! If it's a 10 pairs or something like that, I guess someone answered that above.

I agree that most sellers have no idea what you're going to use them for. They're just looking to make some money selling what they no longer wear.
I personally look for individual sellers and NOT the ebay store-types. I love sellers that sell the shoes "as is" so they're not washed or cleaned.
The only risk I see--are some sellers who are "PURPOSELY" selling used shoes to fetish-ers, because they would sell pairs of shoes in different sizes. They would selling a size 6 pair and a size 8 pair, and still tell you its their OWN shoes. That's a dead giveaway right there.
So I stick to buying from individual sellers. I gives you the chance to buy their own shoes or their daughters shoes.

So I seem to have found a temporary solution.an ex gf of mine who is also a really good friend, knows about my shoe fetish I asked her if she would be willing the shoes for me and she said sure. in the uk we have car boot sales everywhere and worn shoes are on nearly every stall , if i see a woman i like the look of i always buy her shoes often for about 50p -£1 works out about 75c to $1.50

So I went to a yard with every intention purchasing used shoes to feed my fetish urge. And sitting there was this pretty little brunette. I had noticed that the sign for this yard sale advertised records and books, so I made it seem as though I was there for that. Instantly I noticed her vast shoe collection. So I searched for books found two good ones, found some other things I liked, then I faked a phone call with a friend who wanted some shoes for her garden, I stole that idea from a local business that has shoes in there garden, I got so nervous but I think the girl bought it, to be honest im still nervous, cause th eri s girl does not live to far from me. Never the less I got out of there with a of sexy flats as well as a pair of heels. As soon as I got home I had my way with the flats.
But next time I think I might just go to a thrift store. Have no fear pics will be up in about a week.
