I've noticed that within the sneaker fetishes, there are even more preferences to what people like... some people have different tastes in styles and brands. I'm a bit curious about other people's tastes and why in particular they like them. Any thoughts or comments on this?

I have always liked the platform sneakers because they were popular when I was growing up. In high school all the slutty girls would wear them.

Have to say i find some very very sexy and others just a turn off more so than with other styles of shoes. Never really worked out why that is.

I always like the more athletic ones, like Nike Shox, Asics, Adidas, etc.

I couldn't agree with you more there... for me and sneakers anything that has a hard rubber exterior seems to be a huge turnoff for me, but anything made with leather is the exact opposite (with the exception of converse shoes). I find it weird how that sneakers always find themselves at the top of my fetish, but some were always a huge turn off... Wonder if there's any science behind it...

I agree with Hulk, more of the athletic ones. What it is for me are the basically which ever shoes the hot chicks wore when i was in school. My gf has a few pairs of shox which i love. There are tons of hot milf wearing asics where i live now, and i love it, i never liked asics before, but now i just love them.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds sneakers a very specific turn on. It maybe easier to say what i don't like rather than what i do. Even ones made the same brand dont always do it for me and i have no real idea why. For instance i dont like converse at all, never have done, but i'm enjoying the recent fashion for simple black or white plimsolls that seems to be here for a second year. Maybe i'll stop wondering why i like what i like and just enjoy it instead LOL

I'm with hulk and bbloeser on this one. I like those with more leather than fabric! Having grown up in the 80's, Reebok Princess and RFH and my fave. For some reason I did not like the Nike Shox but I grew a taste for them and I don't know why. Like Riftzone says, I just enjoy...

I am with a lot of you on this one too. Obviously by my pictures you can tell that I like the canvas Chuck Taylors or Jack Purcell types but also the thin leather sneakers such as Asics Tigers, Puma Speedcats and the like. I only go for the athletic type shoes when they have been truly worn out and capture the "essence" of the wearer.

Well, my tastes are really broad I would guess, but when it comes to sneakers, my favs are converse Chucks, Adidas Superstars, and platform sneakers.

I was chatting the other day with a plimsoll ( same as sneakers ? ), fetishist like myself. We were recalling school days and my love for the plimsoll of the day the marbot 1328. They were white canvas with the cutest rubber toe cap and grey rubber ribbed soles.
There were are group of six or so girls who wore them all day at school. They got so grubby over time, I just adored them.
I never got to fuck those shoes but would love to now

hah... that's a pretty interesting point you got there, I'm pretty sure that most of my tastes came from the "cool girls" back in middle/high school
For me they wore skater shoes, which I find incredibly hot... especially the DC brand. I remember the girls would usually wear them pretty loosely and their heels would always pop out of the end when they were walking. I remember I used to enjoy countless times in class watching them slipping their feet in and out of their shoes, and they would even sometimes be barefooted which was nice. PE was nice too since sometimes when they'd run the shoes would come off since they were on pretty loose or when they'd kick a ball it'd come flying off their feet.
Ahhh those were the good ol' days... I'd always have dreams of getting off to their shoes too... I don't seem to see that stuff very often anymore unfortunately...
